Parasol
1.1 These terms and conditions relate to the offer campaign being promoted by Parasol Limited (“Parasol” or “Promoter”). The promotion provides the chance to win one of four £250 prizes towards an office/team function or activity. (“Promotion”).
1.2 You are eligible for the Promotion if:
(a) You are currently employed by a recruitment agency within the UK
(b) You submit an umbrella contractor referral to Parasol via the form on the Parasol website https://parasolgroup.co.uk/recruiter/refer/, email, telephone or one of your candidates identifies your agency during an enquiry.
1.3 You are not eligible for the Promotion if:
(a) You are not currently employed by a recruitment agency within the UK
(b) You are an employee of Parasol, an immediate family member, or a person living in the same household.
1.4 The Promotion will run from 0:00am 01/11/2023 until 23.59pm 30/11/2023 (“Promotion Period”) Entries received after this time will not be valid.
1.5 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
1.6 The agency referrer will obtain the consent of the candidate for their contact details to be passed to Parasol. Upon receipt of the contact details, Parasol, will have a legitimate interest to process the information of the Referred. Parasol shall use the information received from the Referrer to promote its services by e-mail, SMS or phone. The Referred has the right to object to marketing from Parasol by contacting [email protected]
1.7 Each referral received by Parasol equals one entry into the prize draw.
1.8 There is no maximum number of entries.
1.9 All eligible participants will be entered into a prize draw to win one of four £250 prizes. The winners will be chosen at random.
1.10 Only one office location per Agency may win a prize
1.11 The prize must be used on an activity for your agency team or office.
1.12 The prize can only be paid with written authorization from a director of the winning agency.
1.13 Method of payment will be chosen by the Promoter & no cash alternatives will be provided. We will also require a director of the agency to confirm acceptance in advance of payment.
1.14 Delivery to mainland UK only.
1.15 Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Promotion to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
1.16 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
1.17 Specific exclusions: Where any of the following apply, no Reward shall be payable by Parasol under or in connection with the Scheme:
- The referred candidate has previously been referred by an alternative consultant of the same or different agency. to the Scheme on another or separate occasion. For the avoidance of any doubt, the referrer can only refer the candidate once to the Parasol
- The Scheme is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under English law. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Scheme is not available to individuals under the age of 18.
1.18 By entering the Competition, participants agree to Parasol’s/Caroola’s Privacy Policy. Any personal data collected as part of this Competition will be used for the purposes of administering the Competition and as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy: https://parasolgroup.co.uk/privacy-policy/
Parasol/Caroola is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data collected during this Competition will be processed in accordance with GDPR and will not be used for any other purpose without explicit consent
1.18 Consent to Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Parasol to use their name, likeness, and submitted content (if applicable) for promotional and marketing purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
1.19 The Promotion will be governed by English law and entrants to the Promotion submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Declaration
By entering into this scheme, the agency referrer and candidate confirm receipt, understanding and acceptance of these T&Cs.
