Caroola Can Help Fund Your Apprenticeships
October 12, 2023Earlier this week, we mentioned on the Caroola Group Facebook page that some of our apprentices were taking their first AAT assessments on 15-17th January, at both our Warrington and Blackpool offices. Our apprentices have now finished their assessments, and their results are in.
For those not in the know, the AAT, or the Association of Accounting Technicians, is a leading professional body for accountants and bookkeepers. Their qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping and business skills are internationally recognised and respected by employers worldwide. For many people looking to start a career in finance, an AAT qualification is one of their first ports of call. Achieving this qualification is often done through an apprenticeship with companies like Caroola.
This week, our AAT Level 2 Academy apprentices sat the first of their four AAT assessments, Introduction to Bookkeeping. We are pleased to announce that an incredible 96% of our entrants passed the assessment! Congratulations!
So, what happens next?
Now that the first AAT assessments are done, our apprentices will be taking a well-deserved break from their studies until the start of February. They will then sit their second assessment, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls, on 25-27th March. Once the apprentices have completed all four AAT Level 2 assessments, we will be encouraging them to proceed to a Level 3 AAT qualification, with the hope that they will then go on to complete Level 4 and obtain AAT full membership, or MAAT.
Meanwhile, anybody who did not get the AAT assessment result they needed this time will be able to resit the assessment on Wednesday 24th January. We want all our apprentices to get through their assessments and obtain the certificates they are working hard for, so every apprentice scheduled to take the resit will be provided with additional tuition from our training partner, as well as in-person support from their Team Leader, to improve their chances of success on 24th January.
We will continue to keep everybody posted on how our dedicated apprentices are going with their AAT Level 2 assessments. Be sure to stay tuned.
