Caroola cares

We at Caroola group are proud of the work we do in our specialist fields of contractor accounting and umbrella payroll. But, we are also made up of diverse people with a wide variety of interests and abilities, and we want to do more than the bare minimum.

We developed the Caroola Cares platform to enable us as employees to thrive (as individuals and within the team) and do our bit for ourselves, others in the company, and the outside world.

As an added bonus, from a business perspective, Caroola Cares also sets us apart from the competition, as it allows us to demonstrate our integrity and develop trust with our clients, employees, suppliers, communities and colleagues.

Caroola Cares can be divided into four categories:

Giving back
Everybody who works for Caroola Group knows that we could not have made it to where we are today without the help of the people, causes and communities near and dear to us, and we want to give back to those people, causes and communities.

Every year, we partner with different team-chosen charities, and we encourage our employees to take part in regular fundraising events throughout the year. We are very proud of our track record in charitable giving, with previous contributions including:
Donating over £10,000

We regularly donate to the NHS, children’s charities and the Samaritans, and have contributed over £10,000 to these institutions so far.

Providing laptops

Through The Turing Trust, we have been able to give staff and students in African schools access to essential technology.

Yearly fundraising

Every year, our staff choose charities and take part in events to raise money for them. In 2023 we raised almost £1000 for The Trussell Trust.

We believe in investing in the future (see our Caroola Academy page for more information), and part of investing in the future involves ensuring that there will be a future to invest in. We consider the potential environmental impact of everything we do, and we encourage our customers, suppliers and colleagues to do the same.

We know that the wellbeing of our colleagues is among the most essential things to look after, because a healthy body and a healthy mind are fundamental to ensuring a healthy approach to work. Our in-house wellbeing team is here and on hand to support the head health and body health of our colleagues, using a holistic approach that encompasses psychological, physical and financial initiatives.
