Caroola Group Receives Recognition from Heartwood Care for Contribution Towards Training Childcare Apprentices

We at Caroola Group are experts in providing accounting solutions and umbrella employment to the self-employed. Accountancy is our bread and butter, and our efforts in this field include helping the accountants of tomorrow gain professional accounting qualifications through apprenticeships. 

Apprenticeships are something we care deeply about here, and we offer in-house apprenticeships in all areas of the business (including HR, Marketing, Sales, Learning and Development, IT, Business Administration, and more). But, we know our limits, and we understand that we don’t have the facilities to provide apprenticeships and training to every industry we care about. At least, not on our own. 

As such, in 2023, we decided to dedicate part of our yearly Apprenticeship Levy to our partners in childcare. In the past year alone, we have contributed over £500,000 to help more than 130 individuals take on apprenticeships across 23 childcare businesses. One employer benefitting from this is Heartwood Care, who released a testimonial last month on the Paragon Skills website explaining the impact Caroola Group’s contribution has made. 

By having this funding available, Heartwood Care’s staff members are better able to utilise apprenticeships to develop their skills in key areas of childcare, such as child development, behavioural psychology and therapeutic techniques. This then equips staff to address the diverse needs of the children they look after in areas like safeguarding, mental health and emotional wellbeing. 

The benefits do not stop there. According to Heartwood Care’s testimonial, with staff members now more capable of providing enhanced care to their children, the growth and success of Heartwood Care as a company can also improve. This will then lead to more professional development opportunities within the company, thereby strengthening their workforce, improving staff retention and raising the company’s reputation.  

Heartwood Care’s testimonial came to us at an ideal time. As we work on strengthening our reputation as a compliant, secure and trusted business, we were deeply moved to learn about the impact our contribution has made to the lives and livelihoods of Heartwood Care’s employees. It has reminded us that we have the power to bring about great positive change, as long as we continue to commit to supporting growth and development (both within our company and outside it). This also strengthens our resolve to keep on finding ways to contribute to the future and well-being of our communities.
